Funded Trading Plus Review

Funded Trading Plus outperforms all Funded Trading firms currently in the market. With Funded Trading Plus there are three unique ways to get funded, and additional benefits with competitive and refundable pricing. The following review summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of trading with Funding Trading Plus and explains the Program’s unique offerings within the funded trader industry.

Based out of London, UK, Funded Trading Plus is a proprietary trading firm integrated with the brokerage EightCap. To maximize potential earnings, traders can start with accounts up to $200,000 before scaling to $2,500,000 through Funded Trading Plus. Traders can choose a single evaluation phase, two evaluation phases, or immediate funding. Upon successful completion of the evaluation, they will be paid up to 90% of the profit splits on their earnings.

Funding Trading Plus funds accounts starting at $12,500 and up to $200,000 with 90% of the profit share going to the trader. Traders can choose among the following trading programs:

The Experienced Trader Program is a single-phase evaluation program with no time restrictions. Traders are eligible for a profit share of 80% to 90% with a profit goal of 10%.

The Advanced Trader Program is a two-phase assessment program with no time restrictions. Traders are eligible for a profit share of 80% to 90% with a profit goal of 10% for phase 1 and 5% for phase 2.

The Master Trader Program is a two-phase assessment with no evaluation requirement, meaning that the funding is provided immediately. Traders are eligible for a profit share of 70% to 90% with no predetermined profit goal. Traders in the Master Trader Program, or those who pass an evaluation, are placed on a real server with EightCap rather than on a demo server. Risk management systems may choose to hedge a part or the totality of a trade, or place evaluation traders on a live server, to limit exposure.

The Funded Trading Plus master trader program account is one that does not require an evaluation. What this implies is that you will receive funding immediately. You will receive a profit share of 70%, which may go as high as 90%, and there is no predetermined profit goal. The relative drawdown at 5% is what is needed to keep an eye on.

All traders that pass an evaluation with Funded Trading Plus or are on their Master Trader Program are automatically placed on a real server rather than a demo server with EightCap. To limit their exposure to risk, risk management systems may choose to hedge some or all of their trade. At times, they may also choose to hedge their holdings by placing evaluation traders on a live server.

Funding Trading Plus has no ongoing service charges and only requires an upfront payment. The Experienced Trader plan is the most affordable option with prices ranging from $119 to $999. The no-evaluation, instant-funding account ranges from $225 to $4,500 depending on the account size.

These per-strategy restrictions apply when you copy your own trades to any Funded Trading Plus program.

There is no hard cap on the number of accounts you may have, however the maximum AUM (accounts under management) for the Experienced and Advanced Trader Programs is $400,000, and the maximum funding for all accounts is $2,500,000. You can’t execute identical trades in other accounts. The Experienced Trader Program allows for $200,000 per strategy, while the Advanced Trader Program and Master Trader Program each allow for $100,000 per strategy. Keep in mind the per-strategy restriction when copying your own trades to a Funded Trading Plus program.

The Advanced Trader Program contains the same easy-to-follow rules as the Experienced Trader Program though offers a higher maximum drawdown. The trader will be granted access to a real, funded trading account once passing the second round Assessment. Trades cannot not be held on weekends. Trading will cease on Fridays at 4:30pm EST (unless noted otherwise). Prior to entering any trade, a Stop Loss order is required without which the deal will be closed with the trader’s involvement.

Compared to the evaluation accounts, the Master Trader Program contains slightly different rules. Profit targets are the same but the total drawdown limit of 5% cannot be breached. This is a hard rule that, if violated, will result in account cancelation. Not holding trades on weekends is a soft rule within this Program.

Traders should also know that the account’s circuit breaker will activate at the 20% profit level. Subsequently, the percentage of the earnings may be withdrawn automatically up to 80%.

Funded Trading Plus provides flexibility to the extent possible. It permits overnight trading, holding, and accepts all strategies—including those fulfilled by the Expert Advisors provided they do not use arbitrage methods.

There are no time restrictions for the evaluation challenge. It is up to the user how much time they want to expend. With that said, inactivity in trading for more than a month presents a dilemma because of the costs associated with keep account of all open accounts. To prevent the lapsing of your trading account, please ensure trading at least once per 30 days.

Users can use whichever trading strategy they prefer. Robots, Algos, and EAs are all usable. When deciding which to deploy, please keep in mind the rules and constraints of each.

To summarize, Funded Trading Plus is a proprietary trading firm offering traders three programs: Experienced, Advanced, and Master.

The Experienced Trader Program is an evaluation program requiring completion of one phase prior to pay-out eligibility. This Program requires hitting a profit target of 10% without surpassing the 3% maximum daily loss and 6% maximum trailing drawdown. Users can earn up to 90% profit splits while also being able to scale their accounts.

The Advanced Trader Program is an industry-standard, two-phase evaluation program that requires completion of both phases prior to becoming eligible for pay-outs or earning profit splits. Funded Trading Plus requires traders to reach profit targets of 10% in the first phase and 5% in the second, prior to becoming funded. These are realistic trading objectives since the firm also contains 5% maximum daily loss and 10% maximum trailing drawdown rules. Under the Advanced Trader Program, users can earn up to 90% profit splits while being able to scale accounts.

The Master Trader Program is a direct funding program that allows users to forego the evaluation period and commence trading a funded account and earning weekly profit splits. This Program contains no time limitations, lot size restrictions, or consistency rules to follow. Users can earn 70% to 90% profit splits while also being able to scale accounts under this Program.

Trader evaluations at FTP are intended to be for anyone interested in becoming a funded trader with the minimum of trading rules and instant funding. Traders who require more time will be able to take as long as they need to get evaluated for funding. Traders looking to forego evaluation and get straight to live funded environment can join the Instant Funding programs.
